Centennial Camping Class

Program Overview

The Centennial Camping Class is an outdoor learning and community program designed to help students experience Australia’s natural beauty while building teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

Through real camping trips and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to live, work, and grow together in a natural environment — strengthening friendships and gaining confidence outside the classroom.

Camp Fire at Night

What you will learn:

•    How to plan and set up a camp site safely and efficiently
   •    Team cooking and resource sharing under outdoor conditions
   •    Fire safety and campfire cooking sessions
   •    Hiking, navigation, and environmental awareness training
   •    Group challenges that build trust, leadership, and problem-solving
   •    Relaxing campfire talk & stargazing nights

Who Can Join

Open to:
   •    Centennial College students from all courses
   •    Staff and alumni interested in outdoor education
   •    External participants (upon availability)

No prior camping experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and team spirit!
